ABOUT GAIL

Gail is British South African, born and raised in Cape Town where she graduated from Springfield Convent School in Wynberg. Having moved to London some 30 years ago, she has travelled extensively around the UK & Europe, before settling in the small, but beautiful town of Nantwich in Cheshire.

Her mother was a theatre actress and Gail has inherited her mother's passion and talent in drama. Much of Gail's childhood was spent in the theatre, both observing and participating. Gail worked alongside her mother for a Cape Town theatre company as an actress and director of children's productions. Theatre remains a firm passion for Gail and much of her work has involved encouraging children to express, learn and grow through drama.

Gail says:

" I love using play and metaphor with art and drama to explore a child's emotions whilst creating a safe environment for development and wellness."

Her extensive experience working with children spans three decades, working with ages from 6 months to 11 years.  She has worked in primary schools with both mainstream and special needs children, gaining valuable experience in how to use her communication and intuitive skills to get the best out of each and every child.

Regardless of whom she is working with her focus and ethics always remain firmly on teaching children to believe in themselves and understand their own unique personalities.  Gail strives to give her best to children and to support parents in helping develop their children so that they can reach their highest potential.

Gail has received extensive training in child development and psychology whilst working in a variety of businesses & schools. However, her greatest teachers have always been the children themsleves and her highest accolade is the experience she has gained from working with them.
